Job Opening – Water Treatment Plant Operator

Grayson County Water District is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Water Treatment Plant Operator.  This position will provide efficient and quality operation and maintenance of the water treatment plant and assist in the distribution system for the Grayson County Water District. Candidates will be expected to maintain accurate records in accordance with established state and federal standards.

Candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Any prospective employees will be required to obtain a Class II-A Water Treatment License within the first 3 years of employment. Candidates with a Class II-A Water Treatment License or higher are desired.

Grayson County Water offers a competitive benefits package including a 401K retirement plan, paid time off, medical, dental, vision and life insurance.  Pay is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and industry standards. Starting pay for a qualified applicant will range from $24.31/hour to $33.25/hour depending on status of license and level of experience.
